Bei dieser Rolle handelt es sich um ein extrem seltenes Vorserienmodell! Manche Teile stammen vom Vorgängermodell z.B. Farbe und Plakette! Griff, Sternrad, Powerkurbel, Justierkappen und Sicherung, stammen vom der Nachfolgeserie 660, 770 usw.! Die Spule stammt auch von der 660 Serie, hat aber noch die Achse nach alter Art!
This reel is an extremely rare pre-production model! Some parts are from the previous model, e.g., the paint and badge! The handle, star wheel, power crank, adjustment caps, and safety catch are from the successor series 660, 770, etc.! The spool is also from the 660 series, but still has the older type of axle!

Merkwürdiger Weise gab es High Speed, bei DAM nie in Verbíndung mit schwarzer Farbe sondern immer nur in Silber ? Und eine Sternbremse mit 3 Flügeln habe ich vorher auch noch nie gesehen , aber an der Nachfolgeserie der 660 gab es dann eine dreiflüglige Bremse , allerdings noch mit Plus und Minus markiert. Das hat diese noch nicht , diese hier scheint der direkte Vorgänger zu sein?
Oddly enough, DAM never offered high-speed brakes in combination with black, only silver. And I’ve never seen a star brake with three blades before, but the successor series to the 660 did have a three-bladed brake, though still marked with plus and minus signs. This one doesn’t have that; it seems to be its direct predecessor.
Gut zu erkennen das Logo mit Quick 800 und unten drunter Made in Germany ! Aber es ist eine 600B in Schwarz, Made in Japan ! Merkwürdig, das spricht alles für ein Vorserienmodell!
The logo with „Quick 800“ and „Made in Germany“ underneath is clearly visible! But it’s a 600B in black, made in Japan! Strange, this all points to a pre-production model!
Und hier lustiger weise , auch Japan ! Diese Rolle ist aber original und wurde so vom Werk montiert ! Gleichzeitig merkwürdig und doch gibt es viele Parallelen zur 900B ? Ein typisches Übergangsmodell würde ich sagen !
Denn Deckel in schwarz mit versetztem Drücker, gab es in keinem anderem Modell!
And here, funnily enough, also from Japan! This reel is original, though, and was fitted this way at the factory! Both strange and yet there are many parallels to the 900B? A typical transitional model, I’d say!
Because a black lid with an offset push button was not available in any other model!
Und noch etwas Merkwürdiges , die Spule dieser Rolle ist auf beiden Seiten , mit einem rotem Ring markiert, wie bei der 660 Serie. Das war nötig, weil diese eine andere Achse hatten und nicht mehr in die Vorgängermodelle passten !

And another odd thing: the spool of this reel is marked with a red ring on both sides, just like the 660 series. This was necessary because these reels had a different axle and were no longer compatible with the earlier models!

Außerdem hat das Antriebsritzel, jetzt eine Zentrierhilfe und Verstärkung bekommen, dadurch ist die Montage des Seitenteil etwas schneller möglich!
Furthermore, the drive pinion now has a centering aid and reinforcement, which makes mounting the side panel somewhat faster!
Hier gut zu erkennen , das Antriebsritzel für die Schnurführung , ist bei diesem Modell aus Aluminium und nicht wie üblicher Weise aus Kunstoff !
As can be clearly seen here, the drive pinion for the line guide is made of aluminum in this model and not, as is usually the case, of plastic!
