Gehäuse, Seitendeckel und Spule wurden mit Nitrolack unsachgemäß nachlackiert!

Der Kurbelknauf, stammt von einer neueren DAM Quick Junior. Und sie Spule wurde ebenfalls lackiert.

Hier erkennt man, das der Fuß, mehrfach nachgearbeitet wurde, durch Brüche am Rollenfuß!

Here, one can see that the foot has undergone multiple repairs, evidenced by fractures at the reel foot.

Und endlich habe ich mal wieder, eine Rolle aus dieser Modellreihe ohne Serien gefunden, die an selben Stelle, wie viele andere dieser Rollen, aber mit einem anderen Kürzel markiert wurde! Und zwar mit einem großem K! Das bestätigt die These das einige Mitarbeiter damals bei der Montage, ihre Markierung hinterlassen haben, um „ihre Rollen“ bei eventuellen Problemen wieder zuerkennen, da diese Rollen ja noch keine Serien Nr. hatten! In anderen produzierenden Industrien, seid den Zwanziger Jahren durchaus üblich! Aber mit einführen der Seriennr. hatte es sich dann damit auch erledigt!

And finally once again, I have come across a reel from this model series that lacks a serial number, it bears a mark in the exact same spot as many other reels of this type, but features a different designation! Specifically, a large „K“! This confirms the hypothesis that, back in the day, certain assembly workers would leave their personal marks on the reels so they could identify „their own work“ should any issues arise, since, of course, these reels did not yet carry serial numbers. This practice was actually quite common in other manufacturing industries dating back to the 1920s! However, with the subsequent introduction of serial numbers, the need for such personal markings effectively came to an end.
