Noch gut zu erkennen die rote Farbe, als Markierung, hier muss geschmiert werden!

Noch wurde der tropfenförmige Kurbelknauf verwendet!

Auch hier kann man noch den letzten Rest der roten Farbmarkierung, auf der Ölbohrung sehen. Und es wurde noch die flache Kurbelmutter verwendet! Die Ölbohrung hat man ab Ende 53 weg gelassen, weil doch einige dieser Schrauben am Wasser verloren gingen, wenn man die Rolle regelmäßig „Innen gewartet hat“ kam auch genug Schmierstoff an diese Stelle!

The oil hole was omitted from the end of 1953 onwards because quite a few of these screws were lost in the water, if you regularly maintained the reel internally, enough lubricant reached this point anyway!

Hier sieht man, es handelt sich um die erste Version des Rot Blauen Karton´s, das spätere Modell war dann der allseits bekannte Showkarton, den es aber wiederum auch in verschiedenen Versionen gab.
